As part of purchasing or receiving a scholarship for extended access (EA), you were asked to supply a Google account ID. This is typically a Gmail email address. You will need to use the account you provided to access extended access videos. If you provided an email that is different than your Google account when you registered, please email [email protected] to correct this and enable access to EA content.

When first accessing YouTube, if you haven’t accessed the site yet, you will get a cookie permission request. You can reject YouTube cookies if you do not wish to have them, but this is a personal preference.
Shown to the right is an example of this cookie permission screen, with the Reject all button highlighted with a red circle.

To sign in to your Google Account on YouTube, select the Sign In button, usually in the top right corner of the page. It has been highlighted in the image to the right with a red arrow and underline.

Fill in your Google Account email address in the first field (marked 1), then select Next (marked 2) to proceed to the password field.

Fill in your password in the first field (marked 1), then select Next (marked 2). Note that depending on how your Google Account is configured, there may be additional screens to complete the sign-in process, which is beyond the scope of this document.

After you have signed in, you will be on the YouTube homepage once more. There will no longer be a sign-in button where there had been one previously, and instead, you will have a round icon representing your Google Account.
You are now ready to access Extended Access videos through their provided links
