Extended access is the ability to watch some sessions, or parts of sessions, after Kink Between the Lines (KBtL) has ended. These recordings are then uploaded to our hosting platform for attendees who purchased extended access or earned it through volunteering.
Extended access is available for 1-2 weeks after KBtL finishes, after which the recordings are removed from public view. In order to use extended access, you will need a Google account, typically provided during registration.
In addition to recordings, attendees with extended access will retain access to the convention spaces for 1-2 weeks after KBtL. This includes session discussion channels as well as other general convention spaces.

While we understand that there may be some concerns over using YouTube as a platform, this was a decision made to maximize the availability of extended access. YouTube provides an international platform with useful accessibility features such as automated subtitle translations. This, and the site’s general accessibility tools, allow for an inclusive platform for extended access.
